Well this week I've been pretty much AWOL, haven't I? I literally double checked I hadn't skipped ahead of myself this morning and that it was actually Friday.
I want to introduce you to a new sponsor of mine, and a shop that until last week I hadn't come across before. Now I'm going to share that shop with you, because (as you know) I like to encourage you to shop for fabric, as it makes me feel better when I'm doing it.
Simply Sweet Fabric is owned by Shay, who I'm pretty sure must have either extra hours in her day, or an extra set of arms or 2 because she has 3 small children as well as the shop (I have 2 much bigger children, no shop, and this week I blinked and it was Friday)
Her style is vintage and floral (you know I'm a sucker for a 30s repro, don't you?)
There's Japanese fabrics like these by Cosmo
sweet calicos (I am in love with this line, those ditsy florals are absolutely perfect)
and other fabrics that all have a sweet vintage vibe, like this Christmas line from Riley Blake
Go and have a little look around, I know you'll love the selection of fabrics. Add Shay to your favourite etsy shops, and check back often. Shay also has a blog where she shares her family life as well as projects she's working on (she even manages to sew - see what I mean about the extra sets of arms!)
